Hot Rolling Mill
The hot rolling process begins with steel billets in RST34 grade and, upon request, ST37 and 3SP grades. After being heated in a reheating furnace, the billets pass through multiple rolling stands where their dimensions are gradually reduced until they reach diameters of 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm.
The final product of this process is plain coil rebar (wire rod), which serves as the raw material for further wire manufacturing operations.
Wire Drawing Unit
Wire drawing is a cold-forming process used to reduce wire diameter by pulling wire rod through precision diamond dies.
At Mihan Noor, wire rod undergoes surface cleaning and descaling before entering the drawing process. Advanced dry drawing and wet drawing machines enable the production of steel wire in a wide range of diameters while maintaining excellent dimensional accuracy, surface quality, tensile strength, and elongation properties.

Annealing Unit
In the annealing unit, drawn wire coils are heat-treated under controlled temperatures and protected atmospheres.
The annealing process improves wire flexibility, reduces brittleness, and relieves internal stresses. The resulting products are commonly known as annealed wire, black annealed wire, or soft wire.
Galvanizing Unit
Mihan Noor utilizes hot-dip galvanizing technology to provide long-lasting corrosion protection.
Wire coils pass through cleaning, pickling, fluxing, drying, and molten zinc coating stages before being collected as finished galvanized wire products. Multiple galvanizing lines enable the production of galvanized wire in various diameters and coil weights.
